Last week, I was interviewed on the BBC Radio Bristol Breakfast Show with Caroline Martin to talk about my new memoir, Spiritual Lawyer, which is available on Kindle on Amazon.
My memoir starts with the story of me avoiding a deadly bombing in Paris in Montparnasse in the 80s. At the time, I knew nothing about intuition so I did not realise that what saved my life was my intuition. But I explained to Caroline that the difference between fear and intuition is that you can get the same information but in the case of fear, you will be agitated whereas when it is intuition there is a sense of calm. But sometimes, our intuition uses the best way to make us avoid something or do something. In order for my intuition to keep me calm, it did not show me there was going to be a bomb attempt rue de Rennes. That would have induced panic. It made me so tired that I changed my mind about going shopping.
In truth, intuition and fear cannot live in the same space. So in order to be better protected by your intuition, you need to learn to worry about things less. That is where hypnotherapy can help. In order to access our intuition we need to understand how our minds work. That is why I have recorded an entire episode on how the mind works on the True Spirituality with Ange podcast.
But there is something else that most people don’t know. We can set an intention for our intuition. We ask our intuition to always bring us information that is useful, timely, practical, inspiring and uplifting.
What intention would you like to set up for your intuition? Let me know in the comments.
